When the car takes to the track at Texas it will be completely fielded by Falk who is still listed as a co-owner of the #40 Toyota of Hillman Racing that Michael Waltrip was unable to race into the field at Daytona. Falk will likely use the existing Hillman Racing shop as the headquarters for the #33 team but no driver has been announced.
By acquiring the team and it?s owner points, Falk will ensure that the car will be locked into the field for the upcoming races regardless of who is driving it. The team is currently 35th in owner points and will have Hermie Sadler drive the car this weekend at Martinsville in it?s last race as a RCR entry.
The car was driven by Elliott Sadler in the Daytona 500 and then was driven by Brendan Gaughan with sponsorship from South Point Casino.
