RSR League welcomes McLaren to iRacing
The largest ever starting field in Red Sox Racing League history, a record forty-one drivers, qualified for the “Gentleman Jim’s Day” at the Daytona Road Course in Daytona Beach, Florida.� The event was held in memory of former RSR member, “Gentleman” Jim Albertson.� Jim’s race number, 67, was retired by the league in a moving ceremony prior to the race.� “Jim was the consummate competitor”, said Jeff Thomas.� “Everyone at RSR has positive memories of their races with Jim, so we thought it was only fitting the league should retire number 67.”� In a further tribute to Gentleman Jim, driver Corey Wolf drove a unique “POW/MIA” paint scheme to mirror the one used by Albertson during his final season of racing.
