Hedstroms commits to world rallycross
Hedstroms Motorsport will enter the 2014 World Rallycross Championship with what it hopes will be a two-car team of Skoda Fabias. Lead driver Peter Hedstrom, who has been part of the squad’s European rallycross programme since its 2012 arrival, will stay on, with negotiations with other drivers ongoing. Team principal Anders Hedstrom said: “Peter will do the full championship, and we are speaking to lots of people at the moment about the second car. It will be interesting to see what happens over the next months.” A multiple champion team in Swedish rallycross, Hedstroms also fielded rally stars PG Andersson and Thomas Radstrom in its home round of the European series.
