David Ragan wanted to feed his team, so he decided to make a rain-delay run to Pizza Hut for food. And he didn't bother changing out of his firesuit to do it.
Ragan, the driver of the No. 34 car, posed for a picture with the pizza boxes outside Pizza Hut. Sadly, no one photobombed him.

Honestly, it's great guerrilla marketing. Sure, it makes him more recognizable and perhaps prolongs his trip to Pizza Hut because he's stopped by fans. But it makes him more recognizable, and by design, the sponsors on his firesuit more recognizable. A walking billboard went to Pizza Hut to get pizza. There's little advertising downside there.
